Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect your email address so we can tell you once when SudsBot goes on sale, and we measure how people use this site so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who we are

This site is operated by SudsBot (“we”, “us”). You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@sudsbot.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

If you join the launch waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. That is the only personal information we ask you for. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, and the site does not take payments.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage information when you visit: pages viewed, time spent, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and details about your browser and device. We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta pixel for this.

Session recording

We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with this site — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and the pages visited — and replays those sessions to us as anonymised recordings. We use this only to find usability problems, such as people getting stuck partway through the signup form. Clarity masks text content by default, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. It cannot see inside the reCAPTCHA, which Google serves in a separate frame.

Cookies and similar technologies

These cookies are set when you visit. You can block or remove any of them in your browser settings, and the opt-out routes for the analytics and advertising ones are listed further down.

We use cookies and comparable storage for the following purposes:

• Analytics and session recording — Microsoft Clarity sets cookies named _clck and _clsk to tell repeat visits apart and to group page views into a single session.
• Traffic measurement — Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga to count visits and work out how people found the site.
• Advertising measurement — the Meta pixel sets a cookie named _fbp and reports your visit to Meta, so we can see which of our ads led to signups. This is cross-context behavioural advertising.
• Email signup — MailerLite sets cookies when you interact with the signup form.
• Spam prevention — Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies to tell people and bots apart on the signup form.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though the signup form may not.

Who processes your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we never pass your email address to an advertiser. We do run advertising on Meta’s platforms, and the Meta pixel on this site reports your visit and whether you joined the waitlist back to Meta so we can measure which ads work. Under California law that counts as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you can opt out of it as described below. These are the providers who process data on our behalf:

How we use your information

• To email you when SudsBot becomes available to buy.
• To occasionally ask for your feedback on the product, invite you to a survey, or offer you a place in a beta test.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To prevent spam and abuse of the signup form.

Everything we send is about SudsBot itself — launch news, product updates, feedback requests, surveys and beta invitations. We will not send you marketing for anything else, and we will not pass your address to anyone else to market to you. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need the list. Analytics, advertising and session-recording data are retained according to the retention schedules of the providers listed below — Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics and Meta.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which removes you from the list immediately.
• Access or deletion — email us at hello@sudsbot.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, or delete it.
• Opt out of analytics — you can install Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics, opt out of Microsoft Clarity, or block the cookies listed above in your browser.
• Opt out of ad tracking — you can limit how Meta uses your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block the _fbp cookie in your browser.
• California residents — we honour requests to know, delete and correct personal information, and requests to opt out of sale or sharing, regardless of whether we are legally required to. We do not sell personal information. We do “share” it as California law defines that term, because of the Meta advertising pixel described above. To opt out, email us at hello@sudsbot.com, block the _fbp cookie in your browser, or limit how Meta uses your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and waitlist addresses are held in MailerLite rather than on this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. If the change is significant and you are on the waitlist, we will tell you by email.
