Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect your email address so we can tell you once when SudsBot goes on sale, and we measure how people use this site so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time.
Who we are
This site is operated by SudsBot (“we”, “us”). You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@sudsbot.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you join the launch waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. That is the only personal information we ask you for. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, and the site does not take payments.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage information when you visit: pages viewed, time spent, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and details about your browser and device.
Session recording
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with this site — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and the pages visited — and replays those sessions to us as anonymised recordings. We use this only to find usability problems, such as people getting stuck partway through the signup form. Clarity masks text content by default, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. It cannot see inside the reCAPTCHA, which Google serves in a separate frame.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable storage for the following purposes:
- Analytics and session recording — Microsoft Clarity sets cookies

- Spam prevention — Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies to tell people and bots apart on the signup form.
- Local storage — if a signup fails to send, your address is kept in your own browser’s local storage so the attempt is not lost. It never leaves your device unless the signup succeeds.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though the signup form may not.
Who processes your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

How we use your information
- To email you when SudsBot becomes available to buy.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To prevent spam and abuse of the signup form.
We will not send you marketing unrelated to the launch, and we will not pass your address to anyone else to market to you.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until the launch announcement has been sent and the list is no longer needed. Analytics and session recordings are retained according to Microsoft Clarity’s own retention schedule.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which removes you from the list immediately.
- Access or deletion — email us at hello@sudsbot.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, or delete it.
- Opt out of analytics — you can opt out of Microsoft Clarity, or block the cookies listed above in your browser.
- California residents — we honour requests to know, delete and correct personal information, and requests to opt out of sale or sharing, regardless of whether we are legally required to. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and waitlist addresses are held in MailerLite rather than on this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. If the change is significant and you are on the waitlist, we will tell you by email.
